Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre is a great place to start your visit to this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Here you can step inside an extraordinary grass roofed building and discover how to read the clues to the mysteries of the landscape and find out who shaped the familiar countryside we see around us today.

Inside the Secret Hills exhibition you can meet the Shropshire Mammoth, take a simulated balloon ride over the Shropshire hills and find out about Shropshire's incredible journey from the tropics.
Outside the Discovery Centre you can explore the 30 acres of Onny Meadows.

The Centre is open every day from 10am and has a café serving home cooked local food as well as a book and gift shop.
Entry to the Centre and to Onny Meadows is free but there is an entry charge to the Secret Hills exhibition and simulated balloon ride.
