'Mind the Skills Gap'

Craven Arms Area Business Network is a largely informal group of business of all sizes and types in Craven Arms and the immediate area. We meet once a quarter for an early evening meeting themed around a subject selected by the members. Past themes have included Grant Availability and Internet Marketing. The meetings finish around 7pm with a complimentary Buffet and a chance to talk and network with other members.

There is no formal joining procedure - if you come to a meeting, request the email newsletter or register with the discussion forum then you've already joined!

You're based outside the area? We're not too strict on geography for the discussion forums and email newsletter but please let us know if you are coming to the meetings - it helps us plan the catering.

Purpose of this website, forums and the email newsletter

to provide continuity of discussions and keep the network functioning between meetingsto provide a reference archive of notes of previous talks by outside speakers etc
to enable business people who cannot attend the meetings at the time they run or simply aren't "meetings people" to participate
to provide a focus for certain business groups - for example the visitor and tourist based businesses in the area
to raise the profile of the town and area to a wider audience and provide a shopfront to people who may travel through the town and yet not know what goes on here.
