Southern Area Business Forum

Chair: Carole Clayton of The Rural Meeting Place - Deputy Chair, Des Seal of Des Seal TV – this is a new group which aims to connect up the business groups in the new Southern Shropshire (*) area and help them work together and let the Shropshire Council know what they can do to help us as business people

(*)this is the old South Shropshire District plus the Bridgnorth District extending as far as Albrighton and Shifnal)

One way of thinking about the Business Forum is as a 4-times a year all-of-southern-Shropshire networking event where you can ask the Council questions and propose projects you would like to see get off the ground  the sandwiches are usually pretty good too.

General Business Support

And everyone should have a good look into  Shropshire Chamber, the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), BusinessLink -  home-based businesses should take a look at Enterprise HQ and woman-run businesses should definitely make sure they've had a good look at Women in Rural Enterprise (WiRE).

They’ve all got good things to offer depending on where you are and what you need.
